Organization Directory Page

Camphill Special School offers a wide range of educational programs for children and young people with developmental disabilities. The programs are based on a developmental curriculum, addressing the chronological age as well as individual therapeutic and remedial needs of children and are designed for both residential and local day students. The aim of the school program is to enhance and maximize each child’s potential for growth, and to bring latent abilities to their fullest expression. Academic and skill training is complemented with an emphasis on developing social, artistic, and practical abilities. The School is a member of the Camphill Association of North America (CANA) and of the Association of Waldorf Schools in North America (AWSNA).

The Camphill School of Curative Education offers a four-year professional certification program in anthroposophical curative education, the approach to working with children with special needs practiced at Camphill Special School.  Completion of the entire four-year course, followed by a six month internship, leads to a diploma in Curative Education, recognized by the International Council on Curative Education and Social Therapy in Dornach, Switzerland.
