MEMORIAL SLOAN-KETTERING CANCER CENTER
SCHOOL OF RADIATION ONCOLOGY TECHNOLOGY

Organization Directory Page

Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center is one of the major research and treatment centers for cancer and its allied diseases in the world. Dedicated to the treatment of cancer patients since its establishment in 1884, Memorial was one of the first institutions to recognize the potential for using radiation to treat neoplastic disease. The Radiation Therapy Department, with its sophisticated equipment and large staff, is devoted to the care of patients and to the establishment of radiation research and teaching programs.

The Radiation Therapy Technology Program is a 24-month program that combines both clinical and didactic instruction. Courses are taught by physicists, physicians, and therapists who are highly qualified in their respective fields. Graduates of the Program are eligible to take the examination given by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in conjunction with the New York State Department of Health.

Source of official student records: Program Director, School of Radiation Therapy Technology, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, 1275 York Avenue, Box 22, New York, New York 10065.
